航空航天工程学院于2015年3月创建，是学校在国防科技工业深度发展的时代背景下，主动贴近贵州军工企业发展需求，前瞻性地把服务国家和贵州航空航天产业作为办学特色之一，落实国家发展战略的重要举措，填补了贵州航空航天类本科教育的空白。2016年8月，学院与中航贵州飞机有限责任公司开启校企全面共建的新征程，正式聘任公司副总经理、重点型号总设计师胡建兴为名誉院长，产教融合特色办学迈出实质性一步。

学院专职教师队伍27人，专任教师22人。博士14人，硕士10人，博士硕士教师占84.6%。获得正高职称职称2人，副高职称8人。享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家2人，贵州省省管专家1人，“西部之光”访问学者3人，柔性引进南京航空航天大学智能制造领域教师团队，为培养高素质应用型人才提供了师资保证。

学院现有航空航天类2个本科专业（飞行器制造工程、飞行器动力工程），在校全日制本科学生438人。飞行器制造工程专业入选国家一流本科专业建设点。2022年，获贵州省教学成果奖二等奖。

学院拥有“航空宇航科学与技术”省级特色重点学科和“航空宇航与智能制造”校级特色学科群，获批教育部智能制造领域中外人文交流人才培养基地项目、教育部产学合作协同育人实践条件建设项目。建有贵州省无人机应急减灾信息化工程研究中心、校级无人机创新创业实验室、钣金成形实验室、飞机装配调试虚拟仿真实验室、航空发动机虚拟仿真实验室、风洞实验室等，为教学、科研、社会服务等提供了平台。

学院积极开展对外合作与交流，每年定期选派优秀学生到西北工业大学等知名高校交流学习，选派优秀学生参加全国航空航天类院校夏令营和中国国际飞行器设计挑战赛等大赛。与南京航空航天大学远程协作完成的飞机大部件装配虚拟仿真实验在第六届中国慕课大会上受到全国教育界关注，具体承办的第七届中国-东盟教育交流周高校创新创业教育联盟“‘一带一路杯’大学生无人机编队飞行舞蹈创意编程大赛”受到多家媒体报道和关注。

目前，学院已初步构建以中航贵州飞机有限责任公司为主体，贵州黎阳国际制造有限公司、中国航发贵州航空发动机维修有限公司、贵州通用航空有限公司等为补充的“一体多翼”产教融合校企共同体，突出以学生发展为中心，重视学生创新能力和实践能力培养，以“强责任、精技术、善管理、重实践、求创新”为目标，培养适应地方经济社会发展需要的航空航天类高素质应用型人才。

 

Brief Introduction of School of Aerospace Engineering

 

School of Aerospace Engineering（SAE）, established in March 2015, is a secondary college of Guizhou Institute of Technology（GIT）. SAE fills the gap of undergraduate education of aeronautics and astronautics in Guizhou under the background of defense science and technology industry’s development. SAE has also approached needs of military enterprises in Guizhou, forwardly regarded serving the country and province's aerospace industry as characteristics, and implemented the national development strategy. Co-constructed by GIT and Aviation Industry Corporation of China Guizhou Aircraft Company Limited in August 2016, Hu Jianxing, the key-airplane chief designer and vice general manager of the company, was appointed as SAE honorary dean. The substantial step has been taken in integration of both industry and education, and characteristic education fields.

At present, the staff number is 27, 22 of whom are teachers with 2 professors and 8 associate professors. 14 teachers have doctoral degree and 10 teachers have master degree, accounted for 84.6% in total. 2 experts have enjoyed special government subsidies from the State Council. 1 expert is a Guizhou Provincial Management Expert. 3 experts have been visiting scholars of Western Light Program. The flexible introduction of a teaching team in the field of intelligent manufacturing from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics provided a teacher guarantee for cultivating high-quality applied talents.

SAE has two undergraduate majors: "Aircraft Manufacturing Engineering" and "Aircraft Power Engineering" with 438 students altogether. "Aircraft Manufacturing Engineering" was selected as a national first-class undergraduate major construction site. SAE won the second prize of Guizhou Provincial Teaching Achievement Award in 2022.

SAE has "Aerospace Science and Technology" provincial key discipline with characteristics and "Aerospace and Intelligent Manufacturing" university-level characteristic discipline group. Intelligent Manufacturing Sino-foreign Cultural Exchange Personnel Training Base Project and Practical Conditions for Industry-school Cooperative Education Construction Project were approved by the Ministry of Education. SAE has provided teaching, scientific research and social service platforms, such as Guizhou province UAV emergency disaster reduction information engineering research center, university-level UAV innovation and entrepreneurship laboratory, sheet metal forming laboratory, aircraft assembly and debug virtual simulation laboratory, aeroengine virtual simulation laboratory, wind tunnel laboratory, et al.

SAE has conducted co-operations with prestigious domestic universities—Northwestern Polytechnical University, to carry out academic exchanges, sent outstanding students to participate in the summer camp of national aerospace institutions, and China International Aircraft Design Challenges. The virtual simulation experiment of aircraft large component assembly completed through remote collaborations with Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics received attention from the national education community at the 6th China MOOC Conference. The "Belt and Road Cup" College Students UAV Flying Dance Creative Programming Contest of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Alliance of Colleges and Universities in the 7th China ASEAN Education Exchange Week, received many media reports and attention.

At present, SAE has integrated a community combined with industry and education，which is based on Aviation Industry Corporation of China Guizhou Aircraft Company Limited, together with Guizhou Liyang International Manufacturing Company Limited, AVIC Guizhou Aeroengine Maintenance Company Limited, Guizhou General Aviation Company Limited. SAE highlights the center on students, students' innovative and practical abilities. The cultivating aim is “Enhance Accountability, Advance Technology, Excel Management, Emphasize Practice, Pursuing Innovation” to cultivate high-quality applied talents in the aviation industry to meet needs of local economic and social development.
